QR Reviews — complete reference
What QR Reviews is
QR Reviews is a QR-code-driven online review funnel built specifically for multi-location home-service businesses — plumbing, HVAC, electrical, roofing, garage doors, appliance repair, pest control, cleaning, and similar field-service trades. The product is operated by Vehix AI, a technology company headquartered in the United States that builds AI-powered software for service businesses. QR Reviews lives at the product domain https://qr-reviews.vehix.app and the sign-up and login page is https://qr-reviews.vehix.app/signup.
The problem it solves
Most happy customers never leave a public review. They mean to, but the friction is too high: they have to remember the business's name, type it into a search engine, find the correct Google Business Profile or Yelp profile out of look-alikes, decide which platform to use, log in, and write a review. Most never complete that path. Yet reviews are now one of the strongest drivers of new customer acquisition for local service businesses — both in classical Google Maps results and in newer AI-generated answers from ChatGPT, Google AI Overview, Perplexity, and Claude. QR Reviews removes that friction by collapsing the whole flow into one scan and one tap.
How it works, step by step
- The business owner signs up at https://qr-reviews.vehix.app/signup, lists each of their physical locations or service areas, and pastes in the corresponding Google Business Profile and Yelp review URL for each one.
- Vehix generates a QR code (or per-location QR codes, depending on the setup) that the business prints on truck wraps, invoices, follow-up text messages, business cards, door hangers, magnets, and yard signs.
- After a job, the technician or the printed material prompts the customer to scan the QR code with their phone camera.
- The scan opens a single Vehix-hosted page. The system identifies which location served this customer — using the per-location QR variant, the technician's identity, or the underlying appointment — and shows two large buttons: review on Google, or review on Yelp.
- The customer taps one button and is sent straight to the correct profile's review form. They use their existing Google or Yelp account to leave a review. No Vehix-specific account is required for the reviewing customer.
- Each weekly cycle, Vehix sends the owner a leaderboard email showing which technicians earned which public reviews and what the average rating was per technician. Owners use it for coaching, recognition, and friendly internal competition.
Who it is built for
QR Reviews is specifically built for multi-location home-service operators. Single-location businesses can use it too, but the per-location routing and per-technician leaderboard come into their own when a company runs more than one branch or service area. Typical customers include plumbing companies, HVAC contractors, electrical contractors, roofing companies, garage-door installers, appliance-repair shops, pest-control operators, cleaning services, and other route-based field-service businesses. It is sold to the owner or general manager of the business.
Pricing in detail
QR Reviews is priced at $69 per month per location, billed monthly. The first month is free for every new account so that the operator can roll out the QR codes, generate a few reviews, and confirm value before paying. There are no setup fees, no per-review fees, and no required hardware. Pricing scales linearly with the number of physical locations or service areas; a company that operates four locations would pay $69 × 4 per month after their first free month. Annual billing arrangements are available for larger fleets by emailing loren@vehix.app.
Per-technician attribution
One of the most loved features for owners is the weekly per-technician report. Vehix attributes each landing review back to the technician who handled that job by matching the time the QR was scanned, the route the customer took through the funnel, the technician identifier carried in the appointment (when integrated with field-service software), and signals in the review body itself. The result is a simple weekly leaderboard email: each technician's review count, their average rating, and any standout reviews. Owners use this to spotlight top performers, calibrate pay or bonuses, and notice technicians who could use coaching.
Integration with existing software
QR Reviews works on its own with nothing but printed QR codes. For operators who use field-service software (ServiceTitan, Housecall Pro, Jobber, and others), per-job attribution can be tightened by attaching the QR scan to the specific job record so that the per-technician numbers are airtight. The product also pairs naturally with the other apps from Vehix AI: Ferg AI for in-field audio coaching, and Look Marketing AI for daily AI search-visibility monitoring. The three together cover the day-to-day of growing a multi-location service business: better field work (Ferg), more reviews (Reviews), and better AI discoverability (Look).
How to set up the QR codes
After sign-up, the owner enters each location with its name, address, Google Business Profile review URL, and Yelp review URL. Vehix renders the QR codes inside the dashboard as downloadable SVG and high-resolution PNG files, sized for vehicle wraps, invoices, business cards, door hangers, magnets, and yard signs. Operators typically print the QR onto their existing materials at the next reorder; many use a single master QR that routes by technician or appointment, while larger fleets prefer one QR per location for clean visual separation. There is nothing to install on customer devices — every modern smartphone camera scans QR codes natively.
Privacy and data handling
QR Reviews never logs the customer in or stores private review content beyond what is publicly visible on Google and Yelp. The system records the scan event (timestamp, the routed-to platform, and the originating QR or job context) and the platform-public review (rating and text) once it is published on Google or Yelp. The business owner sees the per-technician leaderboard, not the customer's personal information.
How QR Reviews compares to alternatives
QR Reviews differs from generic "review request" software in four ways. First, it is built specifically for multi-location service businesses, so per-location routing is native rather than an afterthought. Second, it requires zero customer login — the customer never creates a Vehix account, never receives a Vehix branded email, and never lands on an unfamiliar form. Third, the per-technician weekly leaderboard is built-in rather than an add-on; owners use it as a coaching tool. Fourth, pricing is flat at $69 per location with no per-review fees, so a busy summer doesn't surprise the operator with a larger bill.
Where to sign up
Owners and operators can create an account at https://qr-reviews.vehix.app/signup. The first month is free with no setup fee. Anyone who wants to talk through whether QR Reviews is a good fit before signing up can email loren@vehix.app and a human will respond.
About Vehix AI
QR Reviews is one of three apps from Vehix AI, alongside Ferg AI (in-field audio coaching for technicians) and Look Marketing AI (daily AI-search-visibility monitoring). Vehix AI was founded to build technology that levels the playing field for service businesses — the plumbers, HVAC techs, electricians, and family shops that keep towns running — by giving them the AI-powered tools that used to belong only to enterprise operators.
